Compassionate hearts of Philippine football players will be playing for a charity match on January 7 at 4:00 P.M. to be held at the Rizal Memorial Stadium intended for Sendong victims. The organizing of this match is now anticipated by numerous fans between Azkals Alyansa and the third-division Spanish football league Club Internacional de Madrid (CFIM) from Moraleja de Enmedio.

This match is known to be the most meaningful match that the United Football League (UFL) has organized according to the organization’s chairman, Santi Araneta. The Philippine Azkals is a team in the country along with the prominent players from the UFL such as players:

Phil Younghusband, Ian Araneta, Ojay Clarino, and Nate Burkey as Strikers
James Younghusband as the Right Midfield
Angel Guirado, Valentine Kama, Lexton Moyand, and Carli de Murga as the Central Midfielders
Chieffy Caligdong as the team’s co-captain
Jerry Barbaso and Anton Del Rosario as the Right Backs

According to footballer Araneta with his interview with Rick Olivares, “The more successful the event, the better for all the victims. It will be the most meaningful match we’ve ever organized and I feel very blessed to be a part of it and am grateful for the opportunity to make a difference in their lives.”

“Why football?” Araneta added “Because it takes a team, not an individual, to win a game. We need to do it together so everyone wins,”

In which the said charity football match of Philippine Azkals against the Spanish football team was started when Chris Greatwich, a former national team player sent a message that said: : “wondering what us football people can do to help.” He also added that “I know we all do our share in our own little way, but we wanted to use our influence in the football community to be able to gain the most support,”

On the other hand, Stephen Kenneth Newman, the Spanish football club Internacional de Madrid chief, also posted a message on his Facebook account that this match is going to be competitive and exciting, something which he believes that we owe to the organizers of the relief efforts for the tropical storm Sendong who are working so hard, and to all of the supporters who will turn up for the game.

This match is now the most awaited and trendy in Philippine football news which is dubbed as “Dili Kamo Nag-iisa” On 2 P.M. on the same day, the challenge for celebrity football lead by Kapamilya stars, who will also lead a telethon will begin at 2 p.m before the main match. Both matches will be publicized on IPTV and Studio 23, the Kapamilya bro channel.
